Domino's "Getto Jam" was the lead single and "Sweet Potatoe Pie" was a pop and R&B hit from his self-titled debut LP, "Domino." The album was issued in December of 1993. Upon its release, "Getto Jam" became a huge hit, peaking at 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and 1 on the Hot Rap Singles. The song itself was certified gold by the RIAA on January 5, 1994 for sales of over 500,000 copies and helped the album reach the same feat two months later.
Three years later, Domino delivered his second album, Physical Funk, which failed to become as successful as its predecessor; Dominology followed in 1997. D-Freaked It marked his long-awaited follow-up in summer 2001. In 2004 he dropped Mr. Melodocious.
