Jack Russell Biography
"POP Just means POPULAR - and there's nothing wrong with being Popular" - Jack Russell, 2001
With 7 million records sold worldwide as the front man for the Grammy nominated Hard Rock band Great White, Jack Russell is no stranger to success, but with the recording of his first pop record, the past achievements are expected to pale into insignificance.
When JR entered the studio to write and record his solo album, there was one rule…NOT to sound like his previous band, all other guidelines were thrown out the window. The result of this no-barriers attitude is a collection of songs that put an arrow straight through the heart of adult contemporary pop music. The song writing and production team of Jack Russell, Bob Kulick (Meatloaf) and Billy Sherwood (Yes/Worldtrade) is a slick writing machine.
The band Consists of some of the most talented and respected players in the world of contemporary music.
Bob Kulick - Guitars (Meatloaf/Session etc)
Tony Levin - Bass Guitar (Peter Gabriel/King Crimson/Seal/Session etc)
Billy Sherwood - Guitars (YES/Session etc)
Vinnie Colaiuta - Drums (Sting/Celine Dion/Frank Zappa/Session etc)
