Nick Warren Biography
A much-loved trance and progresive DJ who got his start playing dub, hip-hop, acid house and other various styles in Bristol, UK in the early 90's. His first break was DJing at Vision in Bristol where he met and became friends with Daddy G, which led to him becoming the tour DJ for Massive Attack during their first major tour of the USA. Also worked in Bristol's Sidetracks record shop.
Had an extremely popular residency at Liverpool-based nightclub Cream in the mid-90's, and further bolstered his reputation as one-half of production team Way Out West, which had massive club hits with the singles "Ajare" and "The Gift". His global circuit DJing and work with Way Out West continue to this day.
Nick Warren is currently the Head of A&R (Artiste and Repertoire) at Bristol based record label Hope Recordings.
