(New York, NY) Universal/Motown Records announces the signing of 16-year-old O'Ryan Grandberry, the younger brother of former B2K's lead vocalist Omarion and "Sister, Sister's" star Marques Houston, also known to millions as Batman of IMx.
Although O'Ryan has never released an album, he already has a heap of fans. He's appeared in all the major teen magazines including Right On!, Word Up! Bump and Black Beat, as well as appeared as an opening act at sold-out B2K/Marques Houston performances in major cities.
O'Ryan is currently in the studio recording the last few songs for his yet untitled debut studio CD. In the same vein as the first single to be released, "Take It Slow," the album is smooth edgy R&B with a unique blend of hip-hop. Defying specific musical categorization, O'Ryan simply describes his style as "The O'Ryan sound."
O'Ryan, was discovered by Chris Stokes, CEO of The Ultimate Group Records (the producer/manager responsible for the success of such artists as IMx, Marques Houston, Jhene, Brandy, and many others).
