Rolf Harris Biography

Singer, songwriter, TV presenter, artist and entertainer, born March 30, 1930, Bassendean (near Perth), Australia.

He began his TV career in the 1950s, and he made a name for himself in the UK with his quick-draw cartoons and murals. His songs were also successful with such numbers as "Sun Arise", "Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport" and "Jake The Peg" all becoming widely known.

As of 2015, Harris is serving a prison sentence of 5 years and 9 months after being found guilty of twelve charges of indecent assault.
