The Mondo Crescendo Biography

The Mondo Crescendo began with founding member Jennifer Taylor in 1995 under the name Juniper. After a move to San Francisco in 1997, the band changed its name to The Mondo Crescendo and picked up ex-Ropers, ex-Lilys bass player Mike Hammel. They released a number of singles and compilation tracks in 1998, along with the critically acclaimed EP "Get Faded". In late 1998 they relocated again to Los Angeles where they began work on their newest album, "Young, Naked & Very With It", due out in early October.
