Cecil Bridgewater

An excellent hard bop trumpeter, Cecil Bridgewater has been the longtime trumpeter with the Max Roach Quartet. After studying music at the University of Illinois, he teamed up with tenorman Ron Bridgewater in the Bridgewater Brothers Band (1969).
