The Cucumbers

Basically a duo of Jon Fried and Deena Shoskes (both of whom strum and sing), the Cucumbers came out of America's indie-rock underground in the early '80s, showing an affection for infectious jangle-pop overlaid with lyrics speaking of romantic uncertainty.
