As a composer, Djalma Ferreira had success with "Bicharada," "Cheiro de Zdaudade," "Recado," "Lamento," "Murmúrio," and "Devaneio" (the latter four with Luís Antônio), "Volta" (with Luís Bandeira), and "Nosso Samba."
