After Mark Lewis (drums, guitar, synths, vocals) and Terry Borden (vocals, guitar, bass, synth) left Idaho (the duo played on 1996's Three Sheets to the Wind and toured with Jeff Martin's band) to pursue an outlet that involved more of their input.
