Marty Haugen

Liturgical composer and pianist Marty Haugen was born in rural Minnesota on December 30, 1950; though the recepient of a psychology degree from Luther College in Decorah, IA, after graduating he pursued a career as a musician, writing songs for use in worship in the Catholic church.
