    Polvo - The work 'Dibujo sobre polvo' (Drawing on dust), by Spanish artist Olmo Blanco can be seen in the main hall of the old building of the Republic Bank in Montevideo, on November 23, 2012. More than 50 artists from around the world were summoned to exhibit their work for the first edition of the Montevideo Biennale 'El Gran Sur' (The Big South) which will also include many collateral events as conferences and workshops and will last until March 2013. The General Curator of the biennale is German Alfons Hug, who was curator of the Sao Paulo Biennale in two opportunities, and Uruguayan artists Gustavo Tabares and Patricia Bentancourt are Art Director and Uruguay's Curator respectively.
