    An actress and singer, Selena Gomez began her career as a child star. Born in 1992 in New York City, Gomez grew up in Texas and got her first break as a cast member on the kids TV show Barney and Friends. From there she worked in several Disney Channel productions including The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, Hannah Montana, and The Wizards of Waverly Place. She also appeared in the 2003 film Spy ...more
