The Silvertones

The Silvertones first recorded for Duke Reid, landing a hit with the song "True Confession." The group consists of Keith Coley, Gilmore Grant -- who wrote some of their songs, including "Stop Crying" and "Smile" -- and bass singer Delroy Denton, who left the group by the late '90s.
