Good music x good times x good cause!
3 Doors Down will stage the 11th annual The Better Life Foundation concert on Saturday, November 15 at Horseshoe Casino in Tunica, Mississippi. That's in two weeks!
Here is all you need to know. The long-term mission of the foundation is to make a positive change in the lives of children in need of food, shelter and medical assistance, as well as to enhance the lives of children and young adults with special needs.
That's an amazing cause. Support it any way you can.
Operating with the mission statement, "Changing the World, One Life at a Time," 3 Doors Down has committed their energies over the past decade to make a tangible contribution for those in need through this annual event, and continuous efforts to generate funding to support these goals.
All. Good. Things.
The event is sponsored by the Mississippi Army National Guard. The evening is 21 and up, with under 21 must be accompanied by an adult 21 or older. If you can't make it, you can still spread the word and support the cause in other ways.
Also, the annual "Ride for a Cause" motorcycle ride will take place on November 15 at 11:30AM and will originate from Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson in Southaven, Mississippi. The event, organized byDixie Thunder Run, saw over 400 motorcycles in 2013. Also taking place will be a raffle for a one of a kind 2014 Citizen Soldier VII - Harley-Davidson Street Glide FLH, valued at over $35,000.
For a $10 donation to the charity, fans receive one raffle ticket for a drawing to win the motorcycle and you do not need to be present at the event to win. For more information on "Ride for a Cause" and the motorcycle raffle, visit DixieThunderRun.net.
A silent auction will also take place in the hotel lobby on November 15 from 2 to 4:45pm. The auction will feature memorabilia from a wide range of musical artists and notable sports figures. For more information visit TheBetterLifeFoundation.org or call 251-586-2208.
