311 have nailed down the dates for their Unity Tour, a 25-city trek that gets started on June 5 in Santa Barbara, CA, and winds down on July 12 in Irvine, CA. Ziggy Marley will open all of the shows, but he won't be a part of the band's previously announced leg of spring dates, which runs between an April 15 gig in Tuscon, AZ, and a May 15 stop in Springfield, MO.In other 311 news, the group's latest LP, the Bob Rock-produced Uplifter, will be out on June 2.
"[Bob] just brings out the best in 311," frontman Nick Hexum told LiveDaily.com last year. "He doesn't try and put a signature sound on anything he does. He just tries to really accentuate the strengths of the band."
