3OH!3 sat down with ARTISTdirect to discuss two songs -- "Two Girlfriends" and "DoOrDie" – and in the process, they reveal what went into each track.
They tell us, in this exclusive video interview, that "Two Girlfriends" is fun and humorous, since there is a sense of lightness to the lyrics and with the track, they reached back to their hip-hop days. So get the history lesson pertaining to the song and its existence. The track also has a lot of live energy, making it as fun for the band to perform as it was to write.
As for "DoOrDie," there is a lightness in the verses. It's about having one of those "go big or go home" type of nights. The music was done on a more epic scale, especially in the outro. It's a great way to end the album, in their eyes.
Find out what other projects the producer and friend who worked with the duo on this track has been involved in.
