A release date has been set for the fundraising EP collection 7-inches for Planned Parenthood. The digital format will be available for download on Friday, October 20th, while the physical version ships on November 17th. With the announcement comes the release of Sleater-Kinney’s contribution to the project, an unreleased song called "Here We Come", which is available for streaming and purchase across a variety of platforms here.

7-inches for Planned Parenthood is a collection of vinyl records featuring a diverse group of artists who are donating their time and work in response to the current political climate that threatens the abilities and the very existence of the health provider. Contributors include musicians such as CHVRCHES, Foo Fighters, John Legend, St. Vincent, and Björk, with spoken word pieces coming from Margaret Atwood, Zach Galifianakis, Sarah Silverman, and more.

A Planned Parenthood statement describes the concept behind the project:

"Lawmakers with extreme views are working hard to shut down Planned Parenthood. If they succeed, millions of Americans will lose access to basic health services, including STD testing and treatment, birth control, and cancer screenings. 7-inches for Planned Parenthood is a response to this threat. This curated series of records is made by a group of people who believe that access to health care is a public good that should be fiercely protected. Planned Parenthood will receive 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the box set and streaming listens."
