Summer MixTape Fest 2012, the major new music festival set to launch this summer, celebrating the mainstream music scene from across the U.S., is aiming to please with the announcement of single day passes. The event takes place in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on Aug. 18 and 19.
And to the delight of pop culture and boy band fanatics everywhere, the festival has confirmed they will host the 98° reunion on Saturday, Aug. 18! This is their first and ONLY scheduled appearance together.
After rumors of a 98 Degrees reunion flooded the internet months ago, fans everywhere waited with baited breath for a confirmation. The rumors were quickly shot down to many a fan's dismay. But now, the festival that is bringing audiences a weekend of pop culture mash-up is thrilled to confirm the reunion show of 98 Degrees, the first time the band will perform together in over 10 years!
"We are so excited to reunite and be a part of the Summer MixTape Festival. It's been over 10 years since we last performed together and there's nothing that makes us more excited than being on stage as a group. This will be a chance for us to see old fans and meet new ones all while singing the songs we know people love to hear. We couldn't think of a better place and time to do this," said Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees.
