    A Rare Beatles Abbey Road Photo Being Auctioned - They are walking backwards

    A rare photograph showing The Beatles walking "backwards" across Abbey Road is going on the auction block and is expected to fetch up to £9,000.

    The NME.com reports that the image was captured by the late Iain Macmillan and sees the band walking right to left across the zebra crossing outside the London studio where they made their famed 1969 album; it's special since it is the opposite direction of the picture which made it onto the sleeve.

    Another difference is that Paul McCartney is wearing sandals, as opposed to bare feet.
