Aaron Fresh Videos
ARTISTdirect.com is proud to present this exclusive video interview with singer/dancer Aaron Fresh, who is aptly named. He has some of the freshest dance floor moves and a knack for sweet, catchy vocals. He is the kinda boy your momma will want you to bring home. He was born in the US but was raised by his grandmother in Trinidad, where he was influenced by the local style of music, called "Soca," which he dubs "fast, happy music." That's why "Spending All My Time" has that regional island flare.
Fresh, whose album Fresh N Up is due out via Island Def Jam sometime this summer, also discusses his song "Dirty Girl," which isn't as controversial as the title might suggest. Fresh says it feels good and makes you want to dance, even if you're a little kid. That's because no matter what your age, you can't deny a beat or a good melody, and this song has both! Fresh did admit he isn't old enough to get into a club- he's got four years before he's of legal age- but his song sure has the chops to bellow out of clubs from NYC to LA! How's that for irony?
Fresh also talks about how he hears the beat first and goes from there, and that he wants to "freshen up" the music biz, which is why his album is called Fresh N Up. He also talks about being stoked to be on the same label as The-Dream. I would be too, you know?

Were your toes tapping during "Spending All My Time?" Mine were. I predict Fresh explodes this summer and beyond.
