Aaron Lewis "Endless Summer" Song Review — 4.5 out of 5 stars

On the first single from The Road [Due August 2012], "Endless Summer", Aaron Lewis tells the tale of a perfect day in the blazing sun with his family.
It's a heartwarming and utterly irresistible country gem from the Staind frontman, seamlessly following up last year's phenomenal Town Line EP. His sense of humor pokes through when he describes his daughters singing along to Jason Aldean and quipping, "At least it's not another Miley Cyrus song." In fact, Lewis gets more cinematic than ever with the track. He's so vivid you can practically feel the waves hitting the beach and smell the striper on the grill.
The riff below his words is sunny yet bluesy, and there's a sense of genuine power and grandeur to the music. At the end of the day, this is classic country with a twist and another testament to Lewis's prowess as a songwriter. He's one of the best of the 21st century regardless of genre.
Soak up the "Endless Summer", and get ready to hit The Road in August.
