Aaron Lewis of Staind has a gift that very few possess. The man can sit down with an acoustic guitar and pen a song that can bring you to tears while you hum along. He's got that same spirit and spark that Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Kurt Cobain, and Layne Staley all possessed. It's simplistic, direct, and unfiltered, and that's what makes the music so powerful.
His brand new song "75" stands as the perfect example of that gift. Written while working on the new Staind album and promoting his brand new EP Town Line, the song is another true portrait from Lewis. The lyrics tell the story of rolling down the highway, longing for home, and living on the road.
