AC/DC singer Brian Johnson announced last week that the legendary band are going to get together soon to discuss the future. As to what the future holds, Johnson told VH1 Radio, "Hell, I don't know. We're just getting together and we usually don't get together to sit and have a talk, as it were, unless there's something to talk about so I'll let you draw your own conclusions from that but I think we would like to get to do a new album. We're getting bored." That's good news.
He continued, "We're of a certain age, we're getting on a bit and we don't ever want to put anything out that's iffy or half-hearted. We've just got this thing with AC/DC where it's got to be 100 percent, it has to be bang-on and that’s what we’ll try to get. If we started and we thought it wasn't going where we'd like it to, we would stop and say, 'No, it's not happening.'"
Don't fret, AC/DC fans. Johnson contended that there is still "enthusiasm within the band for the music we play and because we're friends, it hasn't diminished yet, you know what I mean, it’s still there. The fire still burns and I enjoy it, I still enjoy it."
