Miranda Lambert -not Carrie Underwood, not Taylor Swift-- is this year's top solo Academy of Country Music Award nominee. She's up for seven ACM Awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Top Female Vocalist of the Year, Single Record of the Year for "The House That Built Me," Song of the Year for "The House That Built Me," Video of the Year for "Only Prettier" and Video of the Year for "The House That Built Me" and Vocal Event of the Year for "Coal Miner's Daughter" with Loretta Lynn and Sheryl Crow. Damn, it's good to be Miranda Lambert, ain't it? This is Lambert's first nomination in the Entertainer of the Year category; she has won five ACMs previously.

Swift had a "mere" four nominations for Entertainer of the Year, Top Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year (as Artist) and Album of the Year (as Producer).

The leading group nominee is the Zac Brown Band with five nominations for Top Vocal Group of the Year, Album of the Year, Single Record of the Year with Alan Jackson, Song of the Year with Alan Jackson and Vocal Event of the Year with Alan Jackson. Go Zac Brown and co! However, Zac Brown himself has an additional four nominations in Album of the Year as producer, Single Record of the Year as producer, Song of the Year as Composer and Vocal Event of the Year as producer.
