Adele Says Her Loquaciousness, Not Her Smoking Habit, Caused Throat Issues

British soul diva Adele has gone on record to say that the throat problems that caused to axe another US tour were caused by her chatty, loquacious nature, not her smoking habit!
She canceled a 10-date tour on the advice of doctors, and feared that those beautiful vocal cords could be damaged for good if she did not take time to recuperate.
Adele also quit smoking recently, and maintains that it's her chatty nature that caused her throat issues. She told The Sun that "Smoking is not the reason I got laryngitis – it was because I was talking too much. I damage my voice offstage, not onstage. Onstage I am fine as apparently I am technically great, but when I talk I damage my voice big time. I have got screwed into giving up smoking. If I wasn't a singer I still would be smoking 25 a day."
Smoking is bad for your health, Adele! It's probably not good for your voice, either! This'll be better for you in the long run.
