GTECH, the gaming technology company responsible for lottery games based on The Three Stooges, World Series of Poker and more, have announced a partnership with Aerosmith.
“Whether you're 70 or 20, you know a handful of Aerosmith songs and have a connection to the band,” Ross Dalton, GTECH’s senior VP of printed products and licensed content, said in a statement. “You could probably count on one hand the number of bands that would be both palatable in government-sponsored gaming and recognizable to a broad demographic. That's why we got very excited about Aerosmith.”
While “Dream On” is the marketing theme of Aerosmith’s deal, GTECH has produced more than two dozen scratch-off designs based on other hit singles. Expect TV commercials, radio spots and various prize packages along with the lottery ticket rollout, including a possible private concert with the band.
