Aerosmith to Nab $1 Million to Play New York State Fair on August 26

It's a good thing Aerosmith didn't split earlier this year, as so many media reports had indicated. The Boston rock band will be paid a cool $1 million to play the New York State Fair on August 26. The figure means that they will be the highest paid performers in the fair's lengthy history. If the tour sells out, the band will make another $300,000 in take from the ticket sales. However, it is also worth nothing that the concert ticket will be $104 at the top tier, which is $34 higher than the highest fair ever charged for the event. Ouch! Remember, it's you that is effectively lining Aerosmith's pockets.
A little trivia: Rascall Flatts were paid $800,000 to play the event once!
Would you pay $104 to see Aerosmith or do you think they are getting way overpaid?
