Airborne Toxic Event have recently released "Neda," a song dedicated to the memory of an up 'n' coming musician named Neda Agha-Soltan, an Iranian student who was murdered during the election protests last year. The song is part of an Amnesty International Campaign that is aimed at raising public awareness about human rights violations running rampant in Iran. The girl joined a protest against the presidential election while on her way home. She was shot and killed instantly by militants. The event was caught on a cell phone camera and it circulated virally on the web. The Iranian government's response was to halt mourners from honoring her and he grave was targeted with continued desecration.
