CartAkon Says Lady Gaga Makes Christina Aguilera Insecure

R&B star Akon, who signed Lady Gaga to his Kon Distribution label before The Fame and actual fame, is playing arm chair Freud and has been quoted as saying that Gaga's fellow blonde pop star Christina Aguilera has been overshadowed by Lady Gaga's massive success. Akon was quoted as saying, "I think sometimes she gets insecure because of all of the success Gaga has had, not realizing that she was already successful before Gaga came out." Ok, Ak, do you think or do you know this? And why does it matter? Pop stars ebb and flow, flow and ebb. One ascends while others fall. It's the inevitable cycle of pop star life. All you need to do is ask take a peek at Britney Spears for evidence of this cold, hard fact.
Akon said that Aguilera has tried to change her style in order to compete with Gaga and he said, "I miss the old Christina Aguilera. I like the old one better than the new one," he commented. Does Akon have too much time on his hands to be pondering such matters? It would seem so.
In other Gaga news, the video for her smash single, "Bad Romance," has earned the distinction of being the most watched video on YouTube…ever. It's garnered 180,000,000 plays.
