R&B star Akon is seeking legal activity in order to be registered as the father of two children.
Akon has six kids in total.
Akon has filed documents in Georgia, claiming he fathered two sons with a woman in 2009 and 2010 and wants his paternity to be legally recognized.
TMZ reports that Akon filed a Petition for Legitimation in Georgia Superior Court and that he is demanding joint legal custody of the boys and the right to pay child support. He also allegedly wants his sons to go by his surname, Thiam.
We love that Akon is a stand up guy. So many men have to be chased for child support or to admit paternity, but he is being proactive and wants to support his kids. Love it! That's a good man and a good father.
