Alabama Shakes Announce Summer Tour

The Alabama Shakes have just released the dates for their upcoming summer tour. The band performed at the GRAMMYs Monday night and took home three golden gramophones. "Don't Wanna Fight" won for Best Rock Performance as well as Best Rock Song, and their album Sound & Color (ATO, MapleMusic, Rough Trade) took home the award for Best Alternative Music Album. They also won the award for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical and Sound & Color was nominated for Album of the Year.
The Alabama Shakes tour will begin in Bogota, Columbia on March 11th at Festival Estereo Picnic, that will be followed by six more South American Lollapalooza dates in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile.
The North American leg of the tour will begin April 21st in Nashville, Tennessee at the Ascend Amphitheatre and conclude on August 12th at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California. There are also dates scheduled for Chicago, Memphis, Los Angeles, and more, as well as performances at London's British Summer Time and Barcelona's Cruilla Barcelona Summer Festival.
Dylan LeBlanc will be joining the band on the beginning of their North American leg with shows mostly scheduled for the Southeastern United States. Dawes will join the Shakes for 3 of the band's last dates scheduled out West, and the final show will be played with Kurt Vile and the Violators.For more on the Alabama Shakes, check out:
