Album Review: Fifth Harmony "Reflection" – 5-out-of-5 stars

There's no other pop record out right now with the uncontainable, unique, and undeniable energy fueling Fifth Harmony's Reflection. Every song feels massive with the potential to be blaring out of radios for years to come and igniting clubs literally all over the globe. It's just this fierce, focused, and fiery feeling that can be bested or matched in this day and age. It could be a byproduct of the group's five dynamic voices Ally Brooke Hernandez, Camila Cabello, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen, and Lauren Jauregui fusing for one focused pop roller coast—or just the fact that's downright fun from the moment it starts until the end. Either way, Fifth Harmony reflect a new kind of swagger.
Stand out "Worth It" boasts a fantastic guest spot from Kid Ink and an empowering refrain that's impossible to shake, especially when coupled with the slippery beat.
Meanwhile, "Like Mariah" feat. Tyga is the catchiest nod to Mariah in history, but it proudly brandishes each girl's own spirit and shine. "Top Down" struts ahead with the pedal to the metal, breaking the speed limit and revving up the album in the process, and "Suga Mama" feels as if it emerged during the early nineties R&B renaissance, but with a twist of Tumblr sass. On the Deluxe Edition, the concluding collaboration with Meghan Trainor "Brave Honest Beautiful" leaves everything off with a finale of vocal fireworks and a scintillating synth thrown in for good measure.
Reflection establishes Fifth Harmony as 21st century's pop music's premier powerhouse. This is their time...
