If there is no demand, cancel the supply. It's simple economics, and that's why shock rocker Alice Cooper is canceling his planned Halloween cruise.

The ship was scheduled to set sail on October 28, floating from Miami to the Bahamas for five days of rock, right smack in the middle of Halloween season.

A statement on the event website read as follows: "After careful consideration, we have decided not to continue with The Ship of Fear Cruise and we will not be sailing in 2013. Those guests who already purchased cabins will be given a full refund. We feel that we had a strong combination of talent, programming and promotion; however, we did not receive the consumer demand required to continue."

Actors and directors linked from films like Child's Play and Pet Sematary, among others, were scheduled to appear, as was actor Corey Feldman. Shit, not even the Feld could save this event? Shameful!

Honestly, it was probably too expensive since it's a cruise and those are technically vacations and aren't cheap.

Would you have attended an event like this?
