Seattle's Amanda Markley may be a young pop songwriter, but she's one who's lived every high and low note of her songs. At just 16, a serious injury made it impossible to continue with her lifelong love of horse riding, a time when the emerging artist funneled her frustration and heartache into writing lyrics and songs.

Markley's latest effort, a self-titled EP, is set for release on May 6th, and we caught up with the promising young vocalist to tell us more about it in this Icebreaker interview.
