Amber Heard, Odette Yustman Succumb to Darkness
Amber Heard and Odette Yustman will star together as a pair of scream queens in the remake of the 1970 British thriller And Soon the Darkness. The duo will play American girls who go on a bike riding trip across a foreign country and are accidentally separated. One struggles to find the other before darkness falls. The films looks at the psychological terror that occurs when a stranger is lost in unfamiliar territory. Heard will also produce the film; it is her first time doing so on one of her projects.The original was set in France, but the remake will be set in Argentina and will also be shot there. Abandon Pictures is financing the film.
Yustman is quickly establishing herself in the horror genre. The actress recently starred in the thriller The Unborn and Friday the 13th.
