Another American Idol contestant was ushered off the show last night. Megan Joy, a 23 year old who belted out Bob Marley's "Turn Your Lights Down Low," received the lowest number of viewer votes and failed to get any sympathy from the show's judges.
"I'm not going to pretend that we're even going to contemplate saving you," Simon Cowell said just before the singer's final attempt at staying onboard.
"I love you, Simon, but I don't care," Joy said, after Cowell declared her performance "boring" and "indulgent."
Next Tuesday's American Idol show will feature the top eight finalists (Allison Iraheta, Anoop Desai, Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey, Kris Allen, Lil Rounds, Matt Giraud and Scott MacIntyre) performing songs from the year they were born.
