Amy Winehouse Found Dead In London

Soulful pop singer Amy Winehouse was found dead this afternoon, Saturday, July 23, in her North London Apartment. The popular and talented singer was 27.
At this time, investigators are calling her death 'unexplained', but Winehouse was known to have many struggles with drink and drug over the years, as the star had been in rehab a number of times.
Just Wednesday at the iTunes Festival in London, Winehouse crashed the gig of her 15-year old goddaughter, Dionne Bromfield. Reports said that Amy was dancing awkardly around the stage while Dionne was performing. Bromfield was opening for The Wanted.
In early June, Winehouse left her latest stint in rehab after just a week at the Priory Clinic.
Amy Winehouse last performed in a all-too-brief show in Serbia. Fan videos of the performance showed Amy clearly out of it, needing the help of her bandmates to remain upright. Amy slurred her songs and the crowd was not kind. After that incident, Amy canceled the remaining dates of her short tour.
Rather morbidly, Winehouse joins a large list of musical talent that died at 27, including but not limited to: Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison of The Doors, and Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, and Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones.
