Can't Amy Winehouse rest in peace?
The singer's father Mitch Winehouse has accused officials that conducted the investigation into his daughter's death of making major errors, and he is refusing to attend a new inquest.
The initial inquest is being reconsidered when it was revealed that assistant deputy coroner Suzanne Greenaway was improperly qualified to perform the inquest. She later resigned along with her husband, Inner North London Dr. Andrew Scott Reid, who gave her the job.
Officials will now re-open the inquest into Winehouse's death by holding a second hearing in London in January, but Mitch is adamant the family will not attend.
Papa Winehouse also says the family's copy of the coroner's report was sent to the wrong address and the recipient allegedly attempted to sell the information. Jesus! Seriously, can't Amy Winehouse just rest in peace? This is like Keystone Cops – a mess.
Winehouse died in 2011 at home in London. She was just 27.
Alcohol played a role in her passing.
