Amy Winehouse Says New Record Will Be Ready in Six Months

Amy Winehouse has told Britain's Metro newspaper that her third album will be done "in six months at most." The beehive-sporting, black eyeliner-slathered and utterly soulful singer also said that the album is "going to be very much the same as my second album, where there's a lot of jukebox stuff and the songs that are… just jukebox, really." If she follows the path she embarked on with Back to Black, then her fans are in for something good! The album was a breakthrough and sold ten million copies globally and helped the singer to earn five Grammys.
But in order for the singer to truly get back to work, or to black, she has to fully overcome her drug problems, which always seem to creep back into her life. It was as though "Rehab," the song that made her so famous in the first place, was somehow prophetic for her and her life.
Can Winehouse overcome her personal demons? Will she channel them into the music and emerge with better, stronger songs?
