CartAndrew McMahon Announces Solo Tour Under Own Name

May we introduce Andrew McMahon? He doesn't really need an intro, though! He is former frontman and creator of both Jack's Mannequin and Something Corporate and he has announced dates for his upcoming solo tour. This will be his first tour under his own name, where he will perform live with his band comprised of six musicians in total, including former bandmates Jay McMillan and Mike Wagner.
Tickets for the Andrew McMahon solo tour are on sale now.
"Really excited to get back on the road and try out some new music for the fans," said McMahon. "Playing songs from all aspects of my career is not something I've done before, so can't wait to start!"
So he will playing music spanning his entire catalog.
As we said previously Andrew McMahon is best known as lead vocalist, pianist and primary songwriter for bands Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin. In July 2006, McMahon founded a non-profit charity, entitled "The Dear Jack Foundation" to raise funds for cancer research. The organization is dedicated to raising money and awareness to aid in the fight against young adult cancer.
It's a cause close to his heart, since McMahon released a documentary titled Dear Jack in November of 2009 which chronicled his own battle with leukemia, including his treatment and recovery.
