Well, the Scars on 45 Tour continued to gallop at such a breakneck pace I hardly had time to keep notes, so here is my tour diary in photos and cobbled-together memories.
Paulie gets sandwiched at Schubas in Chicago by myself and former Portlander Elizabeth Markham:
Sweetest fan gift from baker & Twitter pal @kellydull!
Me and drummer Paulie Pulvirenti trying to fit in at a hipster bar on the LES, NYC.
Does this count as a New York City landmark now?
Walking through Central Park with bestie & former roommate Hope Royaltey. We reminisced about the squalor we used to live in back in the day as aspiring and under-employed actresses living on the Sunset Strip. Hope is now a writer, and according to my coat, I work for the Russian military!
backstage fun at the Mar-Va Theatre in Pocomoke, MD.
With a little break in Austin, TX, I reunite with songwriting genius / freak Bob Schneider for some nutritious frozen yogurt. We disagree on everything. I favor the nut / chocolate family of yogurt and toppings while he goes more fruity. I'm shocked that such a dark individual would choose such adorable toppings. "Oh yeah, " he says, "if my frozen yogurt could talk it would sound like a teenaged Japanese girl."

These fun gals drove hours and hours to see us in Dallas, TX. Things really are bigger in Texas!!
Right after the Dallas show, I flew out to San Diego to sing a couple songs for longtime friend Steve Poltz's third annual 50th birthday party! (pictured: singer / songwriter Tristan Prettyman's leg)
meeting legendary producer Joe Chicarelli backstage after Hotel Cafe show!
she plays a doctor on TV, but she's my best blurry gal pal in real life--Kate Walsh!
I have been wearing this outfit for 25 days straight:
mid-tour haircut courtesy of Sharon Daddi at my favorite salon in San Diego: Salon Tonic.
pitstop at ex-place of employment FM94/9. Former boss (and program director / drive-time personality) Garett Michaels hands me a copy of the latest single, Notice Me! First time I've laid eyes on it.
Bassist Jeff Bond likes to keep his shoes fresh in the hotel fridge. (Sidenote: you will never again put anything in the hotel fridge).
home in Portland just in time to shoot video for Notice Me with Spencer Gentz!
