Ariana Grande Pulled Out of Philly Fourth of July Show Due to Grandfather's Ill Health

Ariana Grande was due to perform at the annual Fourth of July show in Philly. But she had to cancel. Turns out she had a beyond understandable reason for bailing on the show. Her grandfather is very ill and she rushed back to Florida to be with him.
Grande has tweeted quite a bit about this issue over the holiday weekend and she shared as much information as she could with Arianators. What a loving granddaughter she is! We send our best, our thoughts and our prayers out to her granddad. And we totally get why she could not be in Philly with her City of Brotherly Love-based fans.
Below is a sweet tweet shared by the singer.

You know, Demi Lovato was also due to perform at this same event in 2013, but she had to cancel due to illness at last minute. It's a back-to-back Fourth of July pop diva bummer for Philly fans, but they get it! Shit happens.
Who is loving Ariana Grande's new, EDM-tinged single "Break Free?"
