UK cult rock artisans ready to weave a tale of macabre pulp fiction on 'The Night Creeper' out September 4

So, you might've first heard rock mavericks Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats on either 2012's phenomenal Blood Lust or 2013's Mind Control. The group—K.R. Starrs (aka. Uncle Acid) [lead guitars, organ, vocals], Yotam Rubinger [guitars, backing vocals], Dean Millar [bass], and Itam Rubinger [drums]—painted a strangely sexy, echo-y and murderous portrait of all sorts of madness through fuzzed-out guitars and satanically melodic vocals. The imagery definitely belied the stark beauty of the melodies, making for a sound unlike anything else out there. The band started to attract a cult of fans that spanned everybody from critics to Metallica singer and guitarist and James Hetfield who Instagramed the cover of Blood Lust. However, their fourth full-length album The Night Creeper [Rise Above Records] drops September 4, and it's primed to blast them to the next level.

The song you should check out for now is "I'll Cut You Down" or "Death's Door" from Blood Lust as we've got a tick until The Night Creeper begins invading minds. It's exciting as they teamed up with engineer Liam Watson (The White Stripes, Tame Impala, Electric Wizard), and the vibe of everything thus far crosses Italian horror and that grimy pup fiction from old dusty paperbacks. Rock doesn't get any cooler than that.

Ultimately, Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats make rock 'n' roll dangerous again, and they've got a darkness you won't be able to let go of. It now belongs to The Night Creeper. Don't say we didn't warn you. This is going to be one of the year's best once it slashes into the general consciousness.
