A Rocket to the Moon Videos
ARTISTdirect.com is proud to present this exclusive "Making Of" clip for Massachusetts pop punkers A Rocket to the Moon's new video, "Like We Used To." It's a real, four-minute "Beyond the Video" clip, which shows backstage clips and cuts of the band while they filmed in lovely Santa Barbara, but the band also talks about the meaning of the song and why the video fits! It's certainly and up close 'n' personal look at the band.
"Like We Used To" is a good old-fashioned break up song, the band says, and it explores that difficult yet crucial process of growing up and eventually realizing that while the break up caused you pain, in the end, it was for the best. In this clip, you even get to watch/hear the bassist and guitarist talk about being late for the shoot and getting pulled over by the cops for doing 89 in a 65 MPH zone! Hey, while ARTTM and ARTISTdirect don't advocate speeding, the infraction does demonstrate how dedicated these young chaps are to their craft!
While the song is heartfelt and sincere, it's worth mentioning that all the extras that showed up for the shoot were ladies, which lead to some joking that ARTTM are chick magnets, an assertion they were cutely humble about! Wanna see what I mean? Peep the video here and below! You'll feel like you know a lot more about A Rocket to the Moon when you're through!
Did this clip make you want to check out the band even further?
