Ashton Kutcher is Traded

Ashton Kutcher will star in Traded, a football comedy for Paramount Pictures. The spec was originally developed at DreamWorks but Paramount took over the project after DreamWorks and Paramount's September 2008 split.

Traded will focus on an elite NFL quarterback who magically trades bodies with a middle school geek. They learn valuable lessons about life, courage, and humility while living and working in each other's shoes.

Kutcher will also star with Katherine Heigl, who is rumored to be exiting her longtime role on Grey's Anatomy in order to focus on her burgeoning film career, in Five Killers, a thriller for Lionsgate. The film is about a woman who goes on vacation and meets the man of her dreams. They get married, only to discover that their neighbors may be assassins and that they may be the targets. The film is set to shoot in Atlanta and the South of France next month. The film finds Heigl reuniting with director Robert Luketic, whom she worked with on The Ugly Truth, which is due out later this year.
