At The Drive-In Guitarist Jim Ward Leaves The Band Just Before The Beginning Of Their World Tour

At the Drive-In founding member and guitarist, Jim Ward, has left the band according to a Facebook post, "As our ship prepares for voyage, we announce that Jim Ward will not be joining us on future journeys. We wish him well and are excited to see you soon." There have been no details about the split released at this point, and no replacement has been announced.
At the Drive-in is set to begin their world tour March 22nd at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California. After two Southern California concerts, the band is set to head to Europe till mid-April, and play shows in London, Paris, Berlin, Vienna, and a variety of other cities. From there, the band is set to play a variety of shows across North America with concerts set for San Francisco, Vancouver, Philadelphia, and many more metropolises. At the Drive-in is set to end their tour July 2nd in Gdynia, Poland at the Open’er Festival.
Back in January, At the Drive-In announced that they will also be releasing new music. However, there has been no announcement as to when to expect the new music, and to how Ward’s departure will affect the release.
