ARTISTdirect.com has partnered with Dim Mak and the digital hardcore heroes Atari Teenage Riot to premiere the Collapse of History EP. The EP by the German noiseniks will be on sale to the public through all DSPs on March 20, so you can spend the next few days listening and learning, and loving it. Consider this the "try before you buy" option.

About the EP, from the band:

This is one of the key ideas when it comes to hyperrealism and our time... We live in an age where the sense of space and time is lost. Everything is instantly available. More young people discover music, for example, which was made in the 1950s. The sense of pop is lost, mass culture is coming to an end. We wrote this anthem to celebrate diversity! Musically, it is interesting to mention that the song starts with a recreation of the classic Atari video game "Pong" and then in the refrain features Alec Empire doing 40 layers of vocal takes to create a choral sound which was inspired the old Russian military choirs.

The EP features a collection of remixers, one being Twist The Black Box, noted for his previous work with Diplo and TEETH.

Like a thunderbolt in your Cheerios, Twist The Black Box are a London based duo who found themselves growing increasingly tired of the one dimensional nature of a traditional band. Driven by a ceaseless hunger for exciting new sounds they found a new outlet - a creative hub with music at its forefront. Taking their cues from everything from hip-hop to the recordings of Alan Lomax, from dub to the enchanting narrative of film scores, and beyond. You might say a black box is an attempt to record an impending disaster, but this is Twist the Black Box, where positive chaos is embraced and creative crashes are good. Collaboration and creative nose dives in music and visual arts are on the cards, be prepared."

Talk about a little perspective when you go to listen to this! Enjoy.
