Atlanta Production of "Rock Horror Picture Show" Shut Down - Local officials think it's too risqué

A Georgia theatrical production of Rocky Horror Picture Show has been shut down by local political leaders who found it to be too risqué. The plot, in case you were not aware, is very sexually forward.

The show had been planned for reprisal at Atlanta's Plaza Theater. The city first allowed performances but then Carrollton, Georgia mayor Wayne Garner and his staff saw video footage of the rehearsals and quickly moved to put the kibosh on the production.

Organizers promised to restrict attendance to adults but the mayor did not acquiesce. He said that he won't allow any R-rated production at a city-owned stage. The organizers are left to privately raise funds in order for the show to go on.

Did you ever see Rocky Horror? What do you think of the Georgia mayor's actions?
