The people do have a voice. The incredibly patient and vocal fanbase of Lupe Fiasco can chill out and breathe a sigh of relief. LF's label, Atlantic Records, responded to an online petition from fans begging for the release of Lupe's long-delayed Lasers.
"#Lasers is coming folks!" is what Atlantic online bots –er new media peeps- Tweeted on Saturday! The Tweet came as a response to the online letter directed at the label. The letter read as follows: "Dear Atlantic Records: The fans below have been waiting for the release for Lupe Fiasco's album Lasers for over a good year now. Since when it was originally announced last summer, there has still yet to be a release date announced. It has even been stated by Lupe Fiasco the artist himself, that the album is in fact completed. Enough is enough, we demand that you stop playing around and give us the album that we have been highly anticipating since the release of The Cool. "
Hey, Lupe Fiasco fans, has the news calmed your fears?
